Getting the most out of being crawled: Tags, Keywords and Title
Back in April of 2007 David Sifry reported on the Technorati blog: "Technorati is now tracking over 70 million weblogs, and we're seeing about 120,000 new weblogs being created worldwide each day. That's about 1.4 blogs created every second of every day." Tags have become an important part of indexing all that new content. If we want people to read what we write, we have to do our part to make our content as accessible as possible -- and intelligent tagging is an important part of that.
Green Commuting
Companies can "go green" in many different ways ... from the companies they choose to partner with or the stocks offered in retirement portfolios, but the biggest impact an employer can have on the environment (both Mother Earth and their business) is allowing employees to telecommute.
Search Engine Optimization

The web is awesome. You can find just about anything -- just Google it. From a user standpoint this is great, but from a website owner's standpoint the question is ... How do I get my page to show up in those search results?
Dabbling in Drupal
We love open source ... and you will find examples of it scattered throughout the site.
Our support system is built on OSTicket and we are using Gallery2 to do some fancy image type stuff (still working on getting it fully integrated into Drupal using the Gallery Module), the core of the site theme was created with Artisteer software, the background image is from Stock.xchng ... and the site itself is built using Drupal 6.14 ... with numerous contributed modules (CCK, Views, Admin Menu, to name just a few).
